Working under supervision, the trainee assists in the setup, operation, and maintenance of subsea survey, tooling equipment and data acquisition systems while gaining hands‑on experience in onshore survey and tooling tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Learn competencies of subsea equipment, gaining knowledge in fault finding and general maintenance.
- Attend higher education to achieve technical certificates.
- Testing and servicing of subsea survey and tooling equipment.
- Inspect returning equipment and flag any damage or missing accessories.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all surveying activities.
- Assist senior engineers with daily tasks as and when required.
- Perform workshop miscellaneous tasks to ensure workshop is well run.
