The Business Development Manager will drive incremental business growth across a diverse spectrum of our North UK and Ireland-based travel partners. This individual will drive incremental business growth through existing partners whilst simultaneously seeking out and identifying new partnership opportunities in the specified region. The role is responsible for driving business growth through effective account management, business development and strategic partnership development. This individual will need to optimise sales and marketing activity, maximise return on investment and deliver agreed regional sales, revenue and guest acquisition targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Balance face-to-face account visits, training sessions, industry events and virtual engagement to effectively manage and develop relationships across the territory.
  • Strategically plan meetings both in person and over video calls.
  • Build strong relationships with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from luxury travel advisors to the senior leadership team.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, responsible for delivering exceptional levels of service, strengthening brand advocacy and identifying new opportunities to drive new-to-Regent guest acquisition through innovative and effective account management.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workflow daily in a fast-paced sales environment to maximise sales and marketing outputs.
  • Travel up to 50% in specified region as a field-based role located in the North of UK region and will involve regular travel to represent the brand.
  • Participate in weekly team conference calls with the Director of Sales and provide updates on progress with relationships, events attended and leads generated.
  • Keep abreast of current RSSC sales campaigns and deployment to effectively utilise resources to increase sales.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent); higher education preferred and/or combination of extensive industry experience desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, preferably luxury sales/cruise, travel or hospitality.
  • Salesforce, Tableau or other CRM experience.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Proven sales success, with clearly identifiable commercial skills developed within a fast-paced sales environment.
