We are recruiting for

Dog Handlers to join our team for a range of assignments across Norfolk and the South of England.

  • We are interested in hearing from both
  • General Purpose Dog Handlers and
  • Detection Dog Handlers . Opportunities are available on both a

PAYE and self-employed basis, depending on the role and assignment.

This role is ideal for professional, reliable, and experienced handlers who can work calmly, confidently, and to a high standard in public-facing and operational environments.

  • Typical Duties
  • Conducting patrols and maintaining a visible professional presence
  • Supporting site safety and security through proactive observation and reporting
  • Working in line with operational instructions and assignment requirements
  • Handling dogs safely, professionally, and in accordance with relevant standards
  • Responding calmly and effectively to incidents or concerns
  • Completing records and reports accurately where required
  • Working as part of a wider operational team

Requirements

  • Valid
  • NASDU or
  • NACTIS-P certification relevant to the role being applied for
  • Suitable dog and equipment for operational deployment where applicable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, reliable, and well presented approach
  • Calm under pressure and confident in operational environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Norfolk and the South of England
  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends
  • Experience in event, venue, or site-based deployments
  • Previous public-facing operational experience
  • Own transport suitable for travel to assignments
  • Interest in progressing into specialist assignments where opportunities arise
