Salary: 25,584 – £26,835 (Actual pro rata pay: £12,093 – £12,685)
Contract: Permanent / Part-time
Hours: 20 hours per week, 5 inset days plus 3 days during the holidays (10am – 2pm)

Are you a reliable, adaptable, and hardworking individual who can take initiative? We\’re looking for someone to expertly manage and administer Arbor Pay for our school\’s parents/carers and pupils. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, effectively prioritise urgent tasks, and consistently demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. While accounting knowledge and Arbor experience are beneficial, they are not prerequisites.

  • Advise parents/carers and staff of login details and the Trust’s policy on payments.
  • Manage year end process and assist in audits, producing reports, statistics as required.
  • Monitor and action e-mails received on a daily basis.
  • Liaise with activity organiser to set up payment item and schedule.
  • Notify parents/carers of payment schedule and chase payments.
  • Refund parents/carers as necessary, if agreed by Director of Finance.
  • Liaise with trip organiser re. payments received.
  • Responsibility for making sure lunch accounts are accurate and issue lunch cards.
  • Receive monies for fund raising etc. where cash can be accepted.
  • Prepare cash for banking and take to the bank if and when required.
  • Make sure stocks are kept for all items on Arbor Pay i.e ties, exam packs, stationery items – liaise with Maths Provider.
  • Print ID cards for new staff and activate.
  • Work closely with the school\’s Finance Assistant on PP/Bursary/Trips etc. to ensure everything is posted into the finance system.
  • Maintain the PP spreadsheet and make sure that all students eligible for PP keep to their £100 allowance for uniform along with trips and resources per academic year.
  • Point of contact for any queries relating to Pupil Premium.
  • Liaise with parents/carers and shop provider for uniform items for pp students.
  • Request and manage uniform donations from leavers and liaise especially with pp parents/carers and new Y7 admissions to facilitate access to the swap shop.
