Residential Childcare Tutor· Apprenticeships & Diplomas, Levels 3–5 WHERE Remote + visits across West & South Yorkshire TEAM DAYS Pudsey, Leeds – 4 times a year CLOSING DATE 30th November 2026 You know what it takes to keep a home safe, stable and Ofsted-ready. You’ve supported staff through tough shifts and seen the difference good leadership makes to young people’s lives. Now put that experience to work across the whole sector. Demand for our Residential Childcare programmes keeps growing, so we’ve looking for additional Residential Childcare practitioners with management experience to join our team. You’ll guide learners already working in children’s homes – including registered managers and deputies – through their apprenticeships and diplomas (Levels 3–5), helping them build the leadership skills that keep young people safe. Never taught before? Not a problem. We’re looking for people who have led a children’s home as a Registered Manager or Deputy. We can teach you to tutor. We can’t teach what you already know about running a safe, stable home for young people – so that’s what we’re hiring for. Full training and support from day one. WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT Stay in the sector you care about – and raise standards across many homes, not just one. Mostly remote – work from home, with visits to your learners’ workplaces. Christmas off - we close between Christmas and New Year, so you get a proper break with family and friends, this is in addition to your annual leave entitlement. Brand-new roles – join us as we grow and help shape what comes next. Full training, no guesswork – from induction to qualification content and teaching practice, we’re with you every step. Simple tech – our Smart Assessor platform handles sessions, video calls, shared work and progress tracking. A team you’ll like – supportive tutors and dedicated support staff who love developing others, enjoy a good laugh and run on Yorkshire Tea. WHAT YOU’LL DO Tutor and coach your learners through their qualifications, tailored to their setting. Assess knowledge, skills and behaviours through observation, discussion and questioning – getting learners ready for End Point Assessment. Spot barriers to learning early and put the right support in place. Keep workplace managers in the loop on progress. Manage your own caseload – timely feedback, strong engagement, learners who finish and progress. Model professionalism, dignity and respect, and a firm commitment to safeguarding.
