Hours: Monday to Friday; 45 hours per week

What you’ll be doing: We are looking for a Paint Technician to carry out all Bodyshop work in an efficient and safe manner, to meet the business requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.

Your key responsibilities as a Paint Technician will be:

  • To accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of motor vehicles
  • Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with the retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines
  • Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures
  • Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs
  • Attend specialised training as required
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date
  • Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable

What we need from you: As a Paint Technician, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong experience in car preparation and painting
  • Experience within the accident repair and bodyshop industry.
