As a Risk Advisory professional in London, you will contribute to delivering regulatory and risk advisory, assurance, and remediation services for a global financial services client base. You will collaborate with cross-border teams to win and deliver projects, while mentoring colleagues and developing client relationships. The role centers on strengthening governance, risk, and compliance frameworks and enabling regulatory authorisation processes. Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of risk and compliance advisory, assurance and remediation engagements for UK and international clients
- Lead and contribute to business development activities to strengthen the Risk Advisory client base
- Identify and pursue commercial opportunities leveraging networks and knowledge
- Collaborate with NRF and global colleagues to identify cross-department opportunities
- Maintain and develop client relationships and service delivery
- Support clients in achieving regulatory authorisation and in designing risk and compliance frameworks
- Deliver pragmatic, value-adding solutions to client challenges
- Help build the Risk Consulting practice’s client base and relationships across NRF
Key requirements
- Broad risk, regulatory and compliance experience in wholesale/asset management or commercial/retail financial services and payments providers
- Strong knowledge of UK/European financial services regulatory regime and its practical application
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form to support client engagements and business development
- Ability to build trusted relationships through collaboration with colleagues and clients
- Influence senior stakeholders
- Self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work outside of immediate expertise with supervision
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver on time and budget
- Proven track record of delivering projects with robust, sustainable solutions
