Responsibilities
- Advise on structured derivatives and repo transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements (ISDA master agreements, credit support documentation, trading agreements)
- Contribute to regulatory matters in derivatives and structured finance
- Collaborate with senior lawyers on a range of derivatives matters, including Sharia-compliant transactions
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clear communication
- Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales; other jurisdictions considered
- Experience at a top-tier UK, US, or international law firm focusing on derivatives and structured finance
- Strong academic background and solid understanding of derivatives products and financial markets
- Experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on ISDA agreements and related documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex transactions
