Our global dispute resolution team works on some of the most exciting, complex, high-value and sensitive multi-jurisdictional disputes within a genuine "one team" environment.

Our award-winning Corporate Disputes and Investigations team in London is core to our business and has been identified as a major growth and investment area for the firm. We are able to offer associates a broad range of high-quality work including the following areas:

  • Complex contractual disputes
  • M&A disputes
  • Joint venture disputes, shareholder disputes and partnership disputes
  • Civil fraud

We act for a range of clients, including international blue chip corporates and financial institutions. Due to the nature of our work, associates are able to work across multiple jurisdictions on high profile matters, often as part of a multi-national, multi-disciplinary team. We conduct disputes in the High Court (including the Commercial Court) and international arbitration under all major institutional rules (including LCIA and ICC) and ad hoc arbitrations.

You will be a member of the Corporate Disputes practice in London, managing a portfolio of litigation and arbitration cases, working closely with experienced partners, counsels and associates.

Key Skills and Experience

  • You will have 5-8 years' PQE experience in commercial litigation and international arbitration. Candidates with higher or lower PQE than this range will be considered.
  • You will have experience in managing litigation and arbitration cases on a day to day basis and supervising more junior members of the team.
  • Strong ability to draft and manage legal documents such as filings and advice, to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
  • Enthusiasm, an excellent academic background and a commitment to develop and share technical skills are key.
  • Strong and demonstrable client care skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of an effective team.
  • Keen interest in business development.
