The Role

The individual will join a fast-paced environment and work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out projects that deliver Norton’s company visions and strategy. The Vehicle Line Manager will be close to all departments to bring the project concept to production.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning sessions to set project goals and objectives, determine timelines, develop budget, define tasks, and outline resources necessary to successfully complete the project.
  • Monitor the progress of projects, including addressing issues that may arise and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and to the correct specification.
  • Manage a portfolio and resources to ensure client engagement through project plans, schedules, project tracking, budget and resource allocation, Gantt charts, and workload analysis.
  • Report regularly to management and relevant stakeholders on the project’s progress, challenges, resolution and evaluation of the whole project.
  • Conduct project reviews, including creating detailed reports for executive staff and identifying areas for future improvement.
  • Monitor key project data to ensure required activities delivered on time to support overall programme delivery (Design Surface Releases, Engineering Releases, Supplier deliveries, Parts Quality status).

Personal Specification

  • 4+ years experience within a similar product/project role.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization with strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Skilled user of relevant IT packages: Microsoft Office, Project, and SAP Systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies and commitment to improving internal practices.
  • Ability to travel overseas to support programme delivery.
