The Role
The Events Manager – UK is responsible for leading and delivering Norton’s entire UK events portfolio. This includes motorcycle shows & festivals, dealer activations, test-ride experiences, community events, brand showcases, and retail-focused experiences.
A critical part of the role is effectively managing and collaborating with external agencies, including creative, production, logistics, and experiential partners, to ensure each event achieves premium brand presentation and operational excellence.
You will be the UK lead for all event activity, ensuring every experience reflects Norton’s craftsmanship, engineering, and heritage while driving commercial impact. You will work cross-functionally, be comfortable riding at events, and take a structured, process-driven approach to planning and execution.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of Norton’s UK events strategy and annual events calendar
  • Work closely with external agencies to create standout experiential concepts that align with brand and commercial priorities
  • Ensure all event planning considers product build maturity, vehicle readiness, and technical requirements
  • Manage and execute all UK event types, including: Major UK motorcycle shows (e.g., Motorcycle Live)
  • Dealer events, ride-outs, demo days, and community gatherings
  • Brand activations and retail experiences
  • Act as the primary point of contact for creative, production, and logistics partners, ensuring clarity of brief, budgets, and deliverables
  • Work closely with Norton’s Fleet Management team to ensure bikes are available, prepped, transported, and maintained for event use; that pre-production and demo bikes meet safety and compliance standards; and that bike allocation is scheduled in line with event timing and readiness
  • Oversee logistics including venue sourcing, AV/production, transport, on-site builds, contractor coordination, and event staffing
  • Ride motorcycles confidently at events when required (e.g., community rides, demos) as part of brand representation
  • Ensure all events uphold Norton’s premium brand standards and visual identity
  • Coordinate with product specialists to ensure motorcycles and technology are presented accurately, safely, and in line with launch phases
  • Collaborate with the UK dealer network to support, elevate, and audit dealer-led events
  • Provide event toolkits, brand assets, and calibrated guidance to ensure consistent, high-quality execution
  • Attend key dealer events nationwide as the Norton representative
  • Manage agency partners across creative development, experiential design, production, and logistics
  • Build strong relationships, set clear expectations, and ensure high-quality output aligned with Norton’s brand standards
  • Evaluate agency performance and provide feedback to improve future delivery
  • Manage event budgets with a focus on Capex/Opex understanding and ROI-driven decision making
  • Negotiate with suppliers and agencies to ensure best value and premium delivery
  • Produce post-event analysis, reporting, and recommendations for optimisation
  • Ensure all events meet Norton’s legal, compliance, safety, and insurance requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain safety protocols throughout the planning and delivery stages
  • Work with Global Marketing, Events and Product teams as well as the UK sales team and individual dealers to ensure cohesive event integration
  • Maintain detailed event project plans, calendars, documentation, and reporting
Skills & Experience
Required
  • 3–5 years’ experience managing events for automotive, motorcycle, or premium consumer brands
  • Strong experience working with agencies across concept development and delivery
  • Valid motorcycle licence with confidence riding in varied conditions
  • Experience managing event logistics, suppliers, and production elements
  • Knowledge of UK compliance, contracting, safety, and insurance considerations for events
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with event tools (Cvent, Eventbrite, Asana, etc.)
  • Ability to travel across the UK and work weekends as needed
Desirable
  • Prior experience in the motorcycle or automotive industry
  • Knowledge of UK motorcycle culture and events landscape
  • Experience delivering premium, high-impact brand experiences
