The Role
Norton Motorcycles is seeking a highly proactive and well‑organised Business Support Manager to deliver exceptional executive support to our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), while also overseeing our Front of House team.
This is a fast‑paced and varied position in which you will play a pivotal role in optimising the effectiveness of our Executives’ time, priorities, and workflows, as well as ensuring the smooth running of our front of house division.
The role is based full‑time on site at our new state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Shirley.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing three front of house members of staff, conducting regular 1-2-1s, performance management reviews, and driving their professional development
- Provide comprehensive diary and inbox management for the COO and CFO, balancing priorities and ensuring seamless scheduling across time zones
- Managing stationary levels and coordinating small events including arranging food and setting up the site accordingly
- Oversee and book international and domestic travel, including flights, accommodation, itineraries, and visa arrangements
- Support personal and professional matters related to executive relocation – including bills, furniture, and ad‑hoc mini projects
- Manage and liaise with multiple stakeholders internally and externally, ensuring smooth communication and follow‑up on key actions
- Anticipate needs, identify issues before they arise, and take a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Experience and Core Competencies Required
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C‑suite or Executive‑level leaders
- Proven experience managing staff
- Skilled in managing complex diaries, logistics, and competing demands with minimal oversight
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple high‑stakes priorities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; clear, concise, and professional in tone
- Confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels, from board members to external partners
- Calm and composed under pressure, able to make sound decisions with limited information
- Operates with discretion and sound judgment at all times, managing sensitive and confidential matters appropriately
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and adaptable to new technologies and tools (e.g., collaboration platforms, project trackers, CRM systems)
