The Role

As PR Manager, you will lead strategic public relations initiatives to strengthen our brand, build media relationships, and increase awareness of our motorcycles and rider community worldwide. You will craft compelling narratives that position Norton as a leader in innovation, performance, and lifestyle, fostering loyalty among media, fans, and customers. You will collaborate with Brand, Product, Digital, Events, and Executive teams, manage external PR agencies, and ensure consistent messaging across all media channels. Your role will include managing product launches, motorcycle test rides, brand campaigns, and ambassador communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global and local PR strategies supporting brand and product initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets across print, digital, and broadcast
  • Pitch feature stories, interviews, and motorcycle reviews to media outlets
  • Lead PR efforts for motorcycle launches, product milestones, and campaigns
  • Manage press ride events, media briefings, and launches to maximize coverage
  • Maintain a global press calendar aligned with marketing and product plans
  • Prepare press releases, media kits, Q&As, and briefing documents in line with brand tone
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful stories
  • Lead crisis communication planning and press responses in partnership with Legal and Executive teams
  • Manage external PR agencies and monitor KPIs
  • Track PR performance metrics, media impressions, and sentiment reports
  • Oversee PR budget and reporting processes

Person Specification

  • 5+ years experience in PR, communications, or media relations, preferably in automotive, motorsport, or motorcycle sectors
  • Strong media network in lifestyle, automotive, tech, or trade press
  • Experience managing product and brand communications, including international media coverage
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical features into engaging stories
  • Proven leadership in managing agency relationships and cross-functional teams
