The Senior Talent Business Partner plays a critical role in shaping and delivering a high impact, global talent strategy across the UK, EU, and USA. The role blends strategic talent management, workforce planning, and hands-on talent acquisition to ensure Norton attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership, the role partners closely with executives and HR stakeholders to align workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and hiring strategies with business objectives. The successful candidate will balance strategic thinking with operational execution, driving scalable talent practices while fostering a high-performance and engagement-led culture across multiple regions.
- Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Lead workforce planning initiatives across the UK, EU, and USA, identifying future talent requirements and capability gaps.
- Drive and implement talent frameworks, including succession planning methodologies.
- Partner with senior leaders to define critical skills, competencies, and succession pipelines required for long-term making.
- Use workforce data, market insights, and talent analytics to support organisational design and strategic decision making.
- Talent Acquisition Leadership
- Own and evolve the end-to-end global talent acquisition strategy across multiple regions.
- Lead and develop recruitment operations to ensure high-quality hiring outcomes, reduced time-to-fill, and an exceptional candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to deliver efficient, scalable, and best-in-class hiring processes.
- Drive continuous improvement across recruitment practices, systems, and employer branding initiatives.
- Ensure hiring strategies support diversity, inclusion, and long-term workforce capability goals.
- Talent Management & Performance
- Oversee talent management, performance, and retention initiatives across Norton.
- Drive performance management frameworks and support leadership teams in talent reviews, calibration sessions, and development planning by working closely with TVS Motors.
- Support and drive initiatives for high-potential talent and leadership development and work closely with Talent Development.
- Enable feedback-driven, high-performance culture that supports employee growth and engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent programmes and recommend continuous improvements.
- Global Mobility & International Talent
- Oversee global mobility processes, including international relocations and cross-border talent movement.
- Partner with external providers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant and seamless mobility processes.
- Advise leadership teams on mobility strategies that support workforce planning and international growth.
- Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic talent advisor to senior stakeholders across multiple regions and functions.
- Influence decision making relating to organisational structure, talent risk, succession planning, and capability building.
- Coach and support leaders on hiring, talent management, employee development, and performance strategies.
- Drive global consistency in talent practices while respecting regional and cultural differences.
Personal Specification
- Proven experience in a Senior Talent Management or Talent Business Partner role with strong strategic ownership.
- Demonstrated success in developing and delivering global talent and recruitment strategies.
- Experience managing or mentoring recruiters and/or talent acquisition teams.
- Strong background in workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational capability development.
- Experience working across multiple international regions, ideally the UK, EU, and USA.
- Exposure to global mobility and international talent processes.
- Experience within automotive, manufacturing, engineering, or similarly fast-paced industries preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively in complex, evolving environments.
- Experience in scaling, transformation, or high growth organisations highly desirable.
