Norton Medical Centre is looking to recruit an experienced GP as a GP Partner for 6 sessions to join our team, we are part of the Norton & Billingham PCN. This is an opportunity to join a large, well-established practice at a pivotal time where there is real scope to shape the future, strengthen systems, and help drive meaningful, sustainable improvement.

We are open and transparent that our current CQC overall rating is Requires Improvement. We see this as a catalyst for positive change, and we are committed to a clear improvement journey focused on leadership, governance, access and patient experience while protecting safe, high-quality clinical care and supporting our staff.

Responsibilities

Who we’re looking for:

  • A GP who is values-led, collaborative and resilient
  • Interested in leadership and service improvement, with a constructive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Keen to work within a large practice and alongside a supportive PCN MDT

About us

  • 16,000 patients with a varied demographic
  • We are a team of 4 GP partners, 5 salaried GPs (2 with retainer roles), ANP and CP, 6 nurses, 3 HCA's and support from a comprehensive admin team.
  • We have a daily informal coffee time meet-ups with our clinical team.
  • 15 minute appointments
  • Total Triage model
  • Long history of teaching and training
  • 6 weeks Annual leave with 2 weeks study leave (pro rata)
  • Paid sabbatical to reward long commitment to the partnership
  • Community matron support for care home visits
  • SystmOne clinical system
  • A committed multidisciplinary team with PCN support including: ARRS GP support, Social Prescribing Link Worker (SPLW)
