School Cleaner - Required March 2026 - All year round (not term time only) / permanent contract @ £12.85 per hour

Salary range: £24,796 - £25,185

£12.85 per hour / 10 hrs per week (Actual salary pro rata range - £6,701 - £6,806)

Monday - Friday 3.30pm – 5.30pm

School holiday opening/closing hours - cleaning hours can be completed anytime when the school is open - from 7.00am-4.30pm (4.00pm on Fridays)

Responsibilities

  • To ensure that the required standards and quality levels are maintained.
  • To use all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner in accordance with the instructions and procedures determined by the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership.
  • To complete all appropriate records and documentation as required.
  • To complete online training as required.
  • To ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations.
  • To carry out such other duties as are required, and as are commensurate with the grade of the post.
