Norton Hill Primary are looking for a number of Casual Wraparound Care workers to work within our Breakfast Club and After School Club. Our wraparound care provision is extremely popular and to continue supporting our families we require to expand our team. We are looking for dynamic, flexible, hard working and reliable individuals to work as part of our friendly team.
You would be required to work from 7.15am - 8.30am and 3.15pm/3.30pm - 5.45pm. Hours would vary depending on the number of pupils from nursery to Year 5 (Year 6 from September) attending our wraparound provision. Some shifts would only be 1hr long and will be on different days covering Monday to Friday.
Salary: Grade 1, Point 3 - £12.85ph
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Overview):
- Provide safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunities framework.
- Develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needs.
- Ensure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ensure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the Food Safety Act 1990.
- Ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered.
- Ensure that play meets the full range of children’s individual and group needs.
- Ensure smooth running of the provision.

- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Have a can do attitude.
- Take pride in a job well done.
