School Cleaner in Midsomer Norton

At Norton Hill Primary School, we are looking for two dynamic and reliable cleaners to work as part of our friendly team to perform a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks and duties as directed by their line manager.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Term time hours, plus 3 weeks during the holidays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Overview):

• Daily classroom and shared area cleaning.
• Maintaining bathroom cleanliness.
• Mopping hard floors and vacuuming carpeted areas.
• Damp wiping all furniture, fixtures and fittings, emptying bins.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks to a high level.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Take pride in a job well done.
• Ability to respect and value the different experiences, ideas and backgrounds others can bring to work and teams.

Position 1

• Hours: 2 hrs per day, 10hrs per week after 3.30pm or before school. Hours can be flexible, please contact the school for more details.
• FTE Salary: Grade 1, SP 3-4 £24,796 - £25,185
• Actual Salary: £6,169 - £6,265
• Start date: ASAP
• Closing date: Friday 8th May.
