What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly, safely and to a high standard. This includes:
    • Planning and coordinating after school sessions and holiday programmes
    • Leading on activity planning, making sure there’s a mix of fun, creative and engaging opportunities
    • Managing registers and attendance, ensuring children are safely accounted for
    • Supporting the day-to-day running of sessions, including staffing and organisation
    • Helping to lead and support a small team, including staff, students and volunteers
    • Carrying out supervisions and supporting staff development
    • Acting as Deputy Safeguarding Lead when needed
    • Supporting the promotion of the service, helping more families access what we offer

Working Pattern

  • Term time hours typically between 1:00pm – 6:00pm
  • School holidays on a rota basis between 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Flexibility is essential
