ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Graduate Geologist, you’ll be immersed in a hands‑on learning environment, contributing to exploration and resource development projects across our tenements. Under professional supervision, you’ll gain exposure to:

  • Planning and supervising drilling programs
  • RC & DD Drill data acquisition and interpretation
  • QAQC procedures and database management
  • Field logistics and contractor coordination
  • Tenement management & Reporting aligned with industry standards
  • Environmental and heritage compliance
  • Future experience opportunities in Mine Geology

You’ll be part of a team that values growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement ensuring you develop the skills to become a confident and capable geologist.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor of Science (Geology) or equivalent, core disciplines preferable.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous vacation work or exposure to mining/exploration (desirable)
  • Geological database exposure i.e. DataShed/Acquire (desirable)

BENEFITS ON OFFER

  • Receive $12k residential allowance per annum.
  • Receive up to 10% short‑term incentive payment (STIP) of your base salary.
  • Fully covered family private health insurance through GU Health Complete Gold Cover or an allowance of $4.8k.
  • Receive $2.4k allowance to put towards your choice of Death and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance.
  • Pro‑rata long service leave (LSL) after just 5 years of service and be entitled to 13 weeks paid LSL after 10 years of service.
