The Role Overview
As the ServiceNow Specialist you will be the driving force behind the development, optimisation, and evolution of the enterprise ServiceNow environment. This is a position of genuine influence where you will act as the vital connector between business operations and IT teams, ensuring the platform delivers maximum value and directly supports strategic corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define, communicate, and execute the product vision for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring total alignment with company objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including construction project managers, IT teams, and executive leadership—to gather requirements and prioritise features.
- Backlog Management: Create, maintain, and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring the development team is continuously focused on high-value features and enhancements.
- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Develop detailed user stories and clear acceptance criteria to guide the development team in delivering high-quality solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial ideation through to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate platform performance to identify optimisation opportunities and implement necessary enhancements.
- Training & Support: Provide training and documentation to end-users, ensuring the business is equipped to utilise the platform effectively.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and ServiceNow best practices, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation within the organisation.
About You
- ServiceNow Expertise: You possess a strong understanding and demonstrable hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities and configuration best practices.
- HR Module Experience: Specific experience working with the ServiceNow HR module is highly advantageous.
- Methodologies & Tools: Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern project management tools is essential.
- Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities combined with sharp problem-solving skills.
