My client is seeking an experienced User Researcher to join a leading UK bank on a 6-month contract. This role will play a key part in shaping digital products and services through evidence-based insights, helping teams understand user needs and deliver impactful experiences.

Location: London (2 days/week on-site)

Contract: 6 months (with potential extension)

Rate: Β£500-Β£525 per day (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end user research across discovery and delivery phases.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies (interviews, usability testing, surveys, workshops).
  • Translate findings into actionable insights that influence design and product strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering, Business) to ensure user needs are prioritised.
  • Create personas, journey maps, and evidence packs to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Proven User Research experience, ideally within financial services, digital, or regulated environments.
  • Strong grasp of mixed research methods and when to apply them.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to turn complex research into clear, impactful recommendations.
