We're supporting a growing organisation looking for an experienced 2nd line / Systems Engineer to join their internal technology team. This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll take ownership of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure services, endpoint management and day-to-day IT operations.
Working within a small team, you'll act as the senior technical escalation point while helping to modernise and improve the overall IT environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune and SharePoint
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex support and infrastructure issues
- Manage user lifecycle, Conditional Access policies, MFA and security controls
- Support device management through Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
- Maintain DNS, email security and cloud infrastructure services
- Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
- Assist with infrastructure projects, platform governance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Azure AD / Entra ID administration
- Exchange Online management
- Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Knowledge of DNS, networking, VPNs and security best practices
