Norton Blake has partnered with a top-tier, global media and entertainment powerhouse to find their very first Cloud & AI Application Administrator. This is a brand-new, strategically vital position for the business. Because it is the first role of its kind, you are stepping into a highly anticipated position with massive internal backing, total ownership to shape your own day, and a clear path toward a permanent career move.

The Opportunity

As our client adopts a growing portfolio of AI-enabled and cloud-based business applications, you will act as the operational custodian of these platforms. Your job is to ensure these tools are effectively managed, secure, cost-efficient, and technically aligned with enterprise needs. Crucially, this is platform-focused, not end-user side. You won't be handling daily desktop support, resetting user passwords, or fixing hardware. Instead, you'll be managing the backend ecosystem, security governance, and application lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Platform Governance: Manage the daily operations, access configurations (RBAC, SSO), and lifecycle management of cloud and enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Cost & Optimization: Monitor SaaS billing, track API consumption, flag cost anomalies, and help leadership optimize tech-spend.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner directly with application "Super Users" and "Power Users" across the business to align tools with operational workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across InfoSec, Procurement, Legal, and Operations.
  • Shadow IT Reduction: Actively reduce Shadow IT Cloud services by promoting the adoption of approved, secure, and supported SaaS alternatives.

What We Are Looking For

We don't need a deeply specialised, hardcore programmer. We are looking for a well-rounded technical professional who understands IT environments inside and out.

  • The Background: You have successfully progressed through the ranks of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-line support, giving you an excellent, holistic grasp of IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in user access management: Including RBAC, provisioning workflows, and SSO integration.
  • Understanding of cloud platform security: Data encryption, API security, audit logs.
  • Strong technical concepts: Familiarity with APIs, webhook integrations, and system interoperability.
  • Cloud Agnostic: You possess a strong understanding of cloud platforms, feeling comfortable whether the environment is Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • SaaS & AI Exposure: Experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms (desirable proficiency includes Box.com, Adobe Cloud) and exposure to common GenAI/automation tools.

The Right Personality: A true self-starter. You don't need to be micro-managed; you take total accountability for your work and can translate complex technical considerations into plain business language.

Stakeholder Savvy: High-caliber communication skills. While industry experience doesn't matter, this is a prestigious, top-tier global company, so absolute professionalism when dealing with senior power users is a must.

Ready to Apply? If you have a strong 1st-to-3rd line foundation, a passion for cloud platforms, and want to kick off a 12-month contract that has every intention of becoming permanent—all while enjoying early Friday finishes all summer—apply directly to Norton Blake today!
