My client, a global commodity trading group, is searching for a talented Senior Risk Business Analyst to join our team and help drive key global transformation initiatives across the business.

Your Role: As a Senior Risk Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role working with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to shape process and system changes that support our strategic goals. You'll elicit requirements, propose solutions, and support the engineering team in delivering high-impact enhancements to our risk management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and deliver business requirements for enhancements, projects, and defects.
  • Drive scope, design, and delivery - balancing risk, feasibility, and business impacts.
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships and ensure transparent communication.
  • Innovate new approaches to existing problems alongside Product Owners.
  • Participate in backlog grooming and manage change across teams.

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience with the modelling of energy derivatives, both OTC and exchange traded, including delta 1 derivatives, vanilla and exotic options.
  • Solid understanding of financial risk metrics & trade valuation.
  • Experience with ETRM applications and risk modelling tools.
  • Familiarity with the trade lifecycle and agile/waterfall delivery methods.
