Senior Product Manager - Portfolio Management Platforms We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead product delivery across portfolio management and capital-markets technology. This role requires strong knowledge of investment management platforms, financial markets and the end-to-end trading lifecycle. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, investment professionals and engineering teams to define requirements, shape the product roadmap and deliver effective technology solutions.
This will be inside Ir35 / initially 6 Months / London Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the product roadmap, backlog and prioritisation framework.
- Run requirements-gathering sessions and workshops with senior stakeholders and investment professionals.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear user stories and deliverable outcomes.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement and release-management activities.
- Use data, KPIs and OKRs to guide product decisions and measure success.
- Identify practical opportunities to use AI tools to improve product delivery and team productivity.
Essential Experience
- Hands-on experience with portfolio management platforms such as Charles River, Aladdin or SimCorp.
- Strong capital-markets knowledge across equities and fixed income.
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end trading lifecycle.
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and investment professionals.
- Experience translating business needs into technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Strong product roadmap, backlog-management and prioritisation experience.
- Experience managing UAT through to business sign-off.
- Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
