A good client of mine, a leading digital consultancy, is looking for a Senior Financial Services Marketing Manager on a 12‐month contract. The role requires working from the London office 3 days per week.

The successful candidate will strengthen client relationships, enhance engagement, and drive growth across the financial services portfolio. You will shape and execute strategic marketing initiatives and design data‐driven, multi‐channel marketing programs that promote new client acquisition, retention of existing clients, and expansion of client partnerships while positioning the firm as a trusted transformation partner to leading financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop & Execute Acquisition, Retention and Growth Strategies – Design and optimise multi‐channel marketing campaigns (email, digital, social, thought leadership, and events) aimed at building new relationships with target clients, nurturing relationships with existing financial services clients and expanding share of wallet.
  • Collaborate Cross‐Functionally – Partner with industry, sales, and marketing teams to ensure marketing and engagement strategies align with broader financial services go‐to‐market plans.
  • Leverage Insights & Analytics – Work with analytics and data teams to measure campaign effectiveness, uncover opportunities for optimisation and drive marketing ROI.
  • Stakeholder Management – Act as the primary marketing contact for financial services, collaborating with leadership to align strategies and secure executional buy‐in.
Qualifications
  • 5–7+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably within financial services, consulting, or digital transformation sectors.
  • Proven success in lead generation and account‐based marketing (ABM) and client engagement programs.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services ecosystem—banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management, and insurance—and associated regulatory and digital trends.
  • Analytical thinker with demonstrated experience leveraging data to enhance campaign performance and client outcomes.
  • Ability to manage cross‐functional teams and collaborate across marketing, industry, and sales organisations.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive engagement skills.
