Type: 12 month FTC Location: Onshore Norton Blake is partnering with a global industry leader to recruit an IT Engineer responsible for delivering hands-on 1st and 2nd line support across global operations.
This position offers direct exposure to enterprise infrastructure and modern end-user computing, with a structured pathway to progress into a Senior IT Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities Deliver responsive 1st and 2nd line support to end-users, resolving service requests and technical incidents within SLA targets.
Deploy, configure, and manage Windows endpoints using Autopilot, Microsoft Intune, and modern management tooling.
Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy under the guidance of senior technical staff.
Execute user onboarding and offboarding workflows, including account provisioning, hardware configuration, and access management.
Monitor infrastructure health, alerting dashboards, and backup jobs, escalating anomalies as necessary.
Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, knowledge base articles, and ITSM asset records.
Troubleshoot core network components, including basic switch configurations, Wi-Fi, and VPN operations.
Provide on-site IT support for local office operations, including meeting room media systems and hardware maintainence.
