We’re looking for a Frontend Technical Lead to play a central role in designing and prototyping the next generation of unified electronic health records (EHR/EMR) across both payer and provider operations — globally and in the UK. You’ll lead frontend technology discovery, collaborate with senior architecture teams, and build code-based prototypes that bring complex healthcare data to life through intuitive interfaces. This will be inside IR35.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape the frontend strategy for unified EHR/EMR platforms with FHIR and OpenEHR models
  • Build interactive React Native prototypes for key components like care plans, patient overviews, and claims summaries
  • Work alongside cloud engineers to support proof-of-concept deployments (Google Cloud, Healthcare API, etc.)
  • Translate clinical and payer requirements into user-focused design and frontend integration patterns
  • Align with accessibility (WCAG/NHS Digital Standards) and complex healthcare regulations

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years' experience in frontend/full-stack engineering within healthcare platforms or EHR/EMR tools
  • Strong experience with React Native and modern component-based architectures
  • Knowledge of FHIR R4+, OpenEHR, and how they shape frontend workflows
  • Exposure to master patient index and identity resolution concepts
  • Familiarity with DDD, accessibility standards, and healthcare UX
