UK / China Maths Teacher Exchange

In January 2019, Northstead will host two teachers from Shanghai as part of the UK-China teacher exchange organised by the NCETM and DfE. This provides an opportunity for schools to observe highly effective Teaching for Mastery in a school setting without extensive travel.

Some dates are specific to schools in the Opportunity Area (OA), while others are open to schools across the region.

For Schools in the Opportunity Area:

1. Monday 21st January (pm) – Lesson observation available to Headteachers and maths leaders
2. Wednesday 23rd (am) – Lesson observation available to Headteachers and maths leaders

For Schools in the region:

1. Tuesday 22nd (pm) – Showcase lesson open to colleagues from schools across the region
2. Wednesday 23rd (pm) – Showcase lesson open to colleagues from schools across the region
