You will mentor and develop your very own team of Electrical/E&I Shift Technicians who ensure our machinery runs reliably, seamlessly, and optimally. This is a Days based role, (39 hours per week), offering Private Medical cover and many more benefits!

- Leading by example through a safety-first approach, while promoting the importance of quality, reliability, and sustainability.
- Maintaining high morale, communicating regularly and effectively, and demonstrating openness to new ideas.
- Carrying out annual colleague career and performance conversations (appraisals), alongside review points every 6 months.
- Ensuring all tasks have an accompanying risk assessment to keep our colleagues safe at all times.
- Setting the standard for best practice Maintenance Schedules for PPMs, CILs, and other Maintenance tasks.
- Overseeing work orders, maintenance requests, and our CMMS System to ensure requests are carried out in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental policies and procedures.
- Continuously developing your learning and knowledge to help us innovate, improve, and lead the way.
- Managing the Spares Dept. to ensure our Electrical team have the right tools and parts when they need them.
- Carrying out monthly failure analyses for electrical issues to prepare for unexpected encounters.

Requirements
Qualities we’re seeking:
- Safety-first attitude, leading by example
- Adaptable approach, with a willingness to communicate with colleagues out-of-hours in emergency cases
- Resilient and open to feedback, with the willingness to challenge decisions when required.
- Inquisitive, curious, and improvement-seeking.
Experience and Qualifications required:
- Background in heavy machinery/heavy engineering maintenance
- Health & Safety conversant
- ISO management systems experience
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) methods/techniques
- Familiar with DC Drives & Motors
- Higher National Certificate (HNC) or Level 4 in Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5 years’ experience in maintenance of complex automated manufacturing machinery (desirable)
