Role details
We are recruiting a General Production Operative to join our team based in Disley. This role is on a days, working 8 hours, Monday to Friday, 8am until 5pm.
Please be mindful that within the operational part our tissue mills, you may encounter some humidity, puddles on the ground from water residue, and a scent from waste-water extraction. We minimise this as much as reasonably possible, however this is a common theme within a tissue mill setting, and we remain fully committed to our ‘Zero Harm by Choice’ guiding principle.
Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring machinery to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain operating costs through auditing and controlling against centreline settings.
- Keeping accurate records of production output and downtime and working as a team to reach output targets.
- Operation of FLT, Clamp truck, Skid-steer and MEWP (Cherry Picker).
- Undertaking routine maintenance and cleaning of the machinery, which includes, carrying out FLT checks against the checklist daily.
- Adhering to quality, health, and safety procedures and regulations.
- Troubleshooting day to day issues.
