We are excited to be recruiting a Head of National Sales here at Northwood Hygiene Products. Northwood is a family-owned group of associated companies that provide the manufacturing, supply and transportation of paper hygiene and wiping products for both the Away from Home (AfH) and Consumer market. Our remit is huge, with a portfolio of products covering two key systems brands, professional wiping, commodity, consumer paper and private label. We sell into a distribution network spanning the UK, Ireland and Europe, which in turn service markets such as healthcare, hospitality, hotels, engineering, janitorial, catering and education.
About the Role: Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of experienced National Sales Managers. You will drive revenue growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and ensure the delivery of our strategic sales objectives across the UK & Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of National Sales Managers
- Work closely with the Commercial Director to develop and execute the national sales strategy
- Drive sustainable sales growth across key channels and customer segments
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and partners
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the Away from Home Hygiene Sector
- Ensure consistent execution of pricing, promotions, and commercial initiatives
- Represent Northwood Hygiene at key customer meetings and industry events

Requirements
About You: Proven experience in a senior national sales leadership role. Preferred experience within the Away From Home hygiene industry. Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth. Inspirational leader with the ability to develop and retain top sales talent. Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
