Join us as Warehouse Manager at Ellesmere Port, where no two days are the same, and you can take the lead of a busy 24/7 warehousing operation. While our operation runs 24/7, you will predominantly be Days based from Monday to Friday.

You will manage the fast-paced warehouse operations at our Ellesmere Port converting facility (which supplies high volume to the retail sector), as well as external storage for this site which will transition from a 3rd party provider into the Distribution Centre of our newly-acquired site in Flint. Stock accuracy will be of critical importance to you, and you will possess the skill and determination to investigate all anomalies through the use of Excel, WMS, and/or SAP by Design.

About the Role

You will take the lead on ensuring efficient storage, shipment, and coordination of raw materials and finished goods. You'll also ensure safety, efficiency, and high morale within your team, leading by example and encouraging all to adopt a Continuous Improvement approach.

Your Day To Day
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety within our limited onsite storage capacity (max. 8,000 pallets block-stacked).
  • Effective management of people and MHE fleet (Counterbalance, Clamp Trucks, and Ped Operated Reel Movers).
  • Leading our warehouse operations and stock control with a hands-on approach, using Microsoft Excel, SAP by Design, and SNAP system regularly.
  • Managing inbound/outbound logistics, supervising Forklift Truck Drivers, and coordinating required training with our partners/providers.
  • Interacting with our 3rd party additional storage supplier until we are fully reliant on our extended capacity at Flint DC.
