Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is seeking a Children’s Outpatient Therapist. This position will involve psychotherapy for individuals, sometimes including a family member, and groups of children. Services are provided through a combination of telehealth and in-person formats in our St. Albans clinic, which is a short 25-minute commute from Burlington, VT.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a related counseling field and be licensed or licensure eligible. Free supervision toward licensure available! A licensed clinician is preferred; however, we welcome early career therapists working toward licensure. Experience working with young children and families is highly desirable, as well as clinicians who can treat adolescents with substance use disorders. Training opportunities are available for professional development in a variety of areas.
The position is full-time, 40 hours a week, with the flexibility to design your own schedule including working remotely and a shortened work week if desired. This position may qualify for $5,000 of student loan forgiveness after completion of the 6-month introductory period.
