Role Description
This is a full-time (40 hours a week), on-site role for a Concierge Security Officer located in Chester. Times are 19:00 to 03:00 (8 hours shift).
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and security of the assigned premises
- Monitoring and controlling building access
- Patrolling the area to deter unauthorized activities
- Assisting visitors as needed
- Effectively handling security incidents
- Maintaining a professional demeanor while representing the company
Qualifications:
- Experience in security operations, including building access control, patrolling, and emergency response
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with visitors, clients, and colleagues in a professional manner
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and regulations
- Physical fitness suitable for patrolling and other security-related duties
- Attention to detail for monitoring and reporting incidents
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license
- Enhanced DBS check required
- Previous experience in a concierge/security or customer-facing role is a plus
