The Clinical Coordinator and Pathway Curriculum Coordinator is a vital role responsible for managing clinical site placements, maintaining program compliance with accreditation standards, and coordinating pathway curriculum development for Nursing and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) programs. This role ensures students receive high-quality educational experiences while building and maintaining relationships with clinical site partners. The ideal candidate combines expertise in healthcare education with organizational and communication skills. This position is funded through a grant and is subject to the terms and conditions of the grant. Essential Duties The Clinical Coordinator/Pathway Curriculum Coordinator essential duties are as follows, but are not fully inclusive Clinical Coordinator Manage clinical site placements for Nursing and EMS students, ensuring adequate opportunities for hands-on learning. Develop and maintain partnerships with clinical sites, including hospitals, clinics, and EMS agencies. Coordinate student compliance with clinical prerequisites, such as immunizations, background checks, drug screenings, and certifications. Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical site staff, addressing issues and fostering collaborative relationships. Monitor and evaluate student performance during clinical rotations, collecting feedback from preceptors and clinical instructors. Pathway Curriculum Coordinator Design, implement, and maintain educational pathways that promote seamless transitions between Nursing and EMS programs (e.g., bridge programs, dual enrollment, and articulation agreements). Collaborate with faculty to align curriculum with accreditation standards, industry expectations, and student needs. Support the integration of simulation technologies, case-based learning, and other innovative teaching methodologies. Coordinate with academic advisors and faculty to ensure students follow approved educational pathways for degree completion. Other duties as assigned, not all inclusive Work with Grant Administrator to assist in budget and grant reporting. Help to prepare and maintain documentation required for program accreditation, audits, and site visits. Rate of Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour, up to 19 hour per week. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Should be able to work effectively with employees and all levels of leadership within the institution. Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) andHRISsystems. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who takes accountability for performance while requiring minimal supervision. Must be able to handle highly confidential material efficiently and effectively. Must possess strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships with individuals and teams across the institution and campus. Ability to analyze information and recommend appropriate action. Knowledge of planning, research, and analysis techniques and procedures. Knowledge of department, operations, policies, and procedures. Ability to conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews. Ability to research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports. Ability to organize and conduct meetings and workshops. Knowledge of state and federal personnel laws, policies, and procedures. Must be able to report clear, concise and accurate ad-hoc reports to all levels of leadership.
