- Evaluating primary and secondary market investment opportunities through relative value analysis, market monitoring, and risk/reward assessment.
- Preparing investment memoranda, issuer updates, sector research, and portfolio commentary to support investment committee discussions and decision-making.
- Monitoring existing portfolio positions and proactively identifying emerging risks, catalysts, and trading opportunities across leveraged finance markets.
- Supporting CLO portfolio construction and optimisation activities, including collateral selection, concentration management, and portfolio risk analysis.
- Monitoring compliance tests, collateral quality metrics, WARF/WAS calculations, and other key CLO performance indicators.
- Assisting with warehouse management, including ramp-up strategy, mark-to-market monitoring, advance rate management, and interaction with financing counterparties.
- Supporting scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate portfolio resilience under different market and macroeconomic conditions.
- Working closely with trustees, administrators, legal counsel, and rating agencies on ongoing transaction management and reporting requirements.
- Assisting with the manager approval and diligence process with rating agencies including preparation of materials, portfolio data analysis, and operational due diligence responses.
- Contributing to the build-out of the CLO platform’s infrastructure, including analytical tools, portfolio monitoring systems, compliance frameworks, and reporting processes.
- Supporting the implementation and integration of CLO analytics systems such as Intex, Trepp, or equivalent platforms.
- Assisting in the development of scalable operational procedures and controls as the platform grows.
- Supporting investor reporting, fundraising materials, and broader strategic initiatives relating to the growth of the CLO business.
