We’re looking for someone who can provide essential administration and office support to our teams within the Wastewater Directorate. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate data and records, delivering excellent customer service and clear communications, and handling a variety of general administrative tasks. You’ll also play a key part in supporting the wider department to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
We’re looking for someone with proven administrative experience who can thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment. You’ll have a strong background in producing reports and working with data, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, are essential, along with the confidence to discuss issues professionally over the phone. You’ll be customer-focused, able to build positive relationships with stakeholders, and skilled at prioritising tasks effectively. Strong written communication skills are essential, as you’ll be responsible for drafting clear, professional letters and correspondence that reflect our commitment to excellent service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is key, and a full, valid driving licence with the flexibility to travel between sites is required. If you’re organised, adaptable, and ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
