We’re seeking a detail-driven and data-focused professional to support the successful delivery of our vital Lead (metal) Pipe Replacement Programme. This role plays a crucial part in protecting public health and enhancing regulatory performance by ensuring the integrity, quality, and accessibility of asset and performance data.
You’ll be responsible for the collation, analysis, interpretation, and communication of lead asset data to support investment decisions and shape the wider programme of work. By interrogating corporate systems, you’ll provide key insights into pipe materials to support the planning and delivery of schemes. Working closely with the Water Quality Team, you’ll ensure accurate and timely responses to lead sample results, while also promoting a consistent approach to data management across all three of our operating areas.
A core part of your role will be ensuring that both internal teams and contractors collect high-quality information that meets project objectives and supports efficient regulatory reporting. You’ll lead the preparation and assurance of regulatory data submissions, contributing to audits and performance reviews. Building strong relationships across the business, you’ll identify opportunities to enhance how data is used, promoting the benefits of accurate and reliable data capture.
Additionally, you’ll provide technical support on data recording and insight, maintain up-to-date asset information within corporate systems, and support the ongoing improvement of our lead pipe risk-based prioritisation model.
If you’re passionate about using data to drive smarter decisions and want to make a real difference to our customers and communities, we’d love to hear from you.
To succeed in this role, you’ll be highly motivated and capable of working independently, proactively managing your own time and workload to meet tight deadlines. You’ll bring strong organisational skills and a results-driven mindset, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing priorities and ad hoc requests.
With a positive, confident, and can-do attitude, you’ll be a natural communicator, able to engage effectively with people at all levels across the business. A strong team player, you’ll thrive in a collaborative environment while also bringing the flexibility and initiative needed to deliver exceptional outcomes under pressure.
You’ll have advanced skills in Excel and data presentation, with the ability to translate complex data into clearly and concisely. Your exceptional attention to detail will ensure the accuracy and reliability of information that underpins important decision-making.
