The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be the direct link between Northumbria University and schools and colleges primarily within the North West region. Your role will involve delivering engaging workshops, presentations and activities to students, promoting Northumbria and encouraging applications from high-quality students from diverse backgrounds. You will represent the University at Higher Education exhibitions, work with coordinators to develop and deliver recruitment and widening participation events, and proactively build relationships with schools and colleges through phone, email and face-to-face contact. You will work towards specific regional targets for outreach sessions and use data and intelligence to inform recruitment strategies. You will be based in a North West postcode but the role will be home based.
About the Team: You will be joining the Student Recruitment team within Marketing, a collaborative and dynamic team dedicated to attracting talented students to Northumbria University. You will be part of a supportive environment that values innovation, teamwork, and making a genuine impact on students' educational journeys.
About You: Applicants must have:
- An Honours degree or equivalent
- You must live in a North West postcode
- Great organisation skills
- Experience of working with young people, or evidence of an interest in doing so
- Experience in customer service and/or managing relationships
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and workshops to varied audiences
- Strong organisational, planning and administrative skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
- A current full UK driving licence, with competence and willingness to drive long distances, including evenings and weekends
- A DBS check is required for this role.
Flexible working is required as you will be working some evenings and weekends at events or travelling. Further information is available in the person specification.
