About the Role: This is a fixed‑term placement of 12 months, starting in September 2026 and ending in August 2027. As a Student Placement in the Digital team you will edit and publish web content, support UX audits and design, use AI tools to improve the way we work, and help colleagues across the University get more from our digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Editing and publishing website content.
  • Supporting UX audits and design activities.
  • Using AI tools to improve processes.
  • Assisting colleagues in maximising the use of digital platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong IT skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to think creatively and methodically to solve problems.
  • Current Northumbria second‑year undergraduate student.
