The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide health psychology support to the delivery of research activity for the NIHR-funded Programme Grant for Applied Research - Improving outcomes for ovarian cancer patients by refining evidenced based tools that drive surgical standardisation - Part 2 (IMPRESS-2).
You will be required to undertake the following key activities:
- Engage with clinicians and patients in a collaborative co-design process to develop and test (using health psychology theory and methods) innovative, evidence- and theory-based tools, including:
- Treatment decision support tailored to those diagnosed with ovarian cancer
- Shared decision-making skills training for healthcare professionals.
This is a fixed term role for 5 years.
Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent and have demonstrable specialist expert knowledge in health psychology theory and methods.
