Overview

Location: Agile, Fourth Banks one day a week and homeworking. Please be advised this may change to two days a week depending on changes to Force policy.

Hours/Contract: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday

What you’ll do

  • Lead training needs analysis for allocated areas, identifying skills gaps, risks, and future capability requirements
  • Develop and manage service delivery plans, ensuring effective use of resources, budgets, and alignment with organisational priorities
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders, using data and insights to support strategic decisions, succession planning, and risk management
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver learning solutions, manage supplier relationships, and support continuous improvement
  • Produce and manage accurate workforce data to support planning, reporting, compliance, and long-term capability development

What you’ll bring

  • Financial acumen and experience in evaluating cost-benefit of workforce initiatives.
  • Proven experience in training needs analysis, service delivery planning, and managing training resources.
  • Strong understanding of the full training cycle and workforce capability planning.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Confident using Learning Management Systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Skilled in managing and reporting on workforce data.
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting and strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presenting.

This is a permanent/fixed term role subject to a six-month probationary period.
