Overview: Northumbria Police (Team NP) is one of the largest police forces in England. The Business Services Team seeks an Evidential Property Administrator to support operational work and business planning.
What you’ll do:
- Ensuring property is stored securely and accurately recorded.
- Conducting daily checks to facilitate transfer to other stores.
- Ensure computerised and paper-based records are up to date.
- Supporting internal customers with property enquiries.
- Storing high-risk items that may require specialised processing with strict policies and procedures (firearms, fireworks, electricals).
- Handling, recording, and arranging appropriate storage and disposal of drugs in compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.
- Safely using ladders within a store environment to retrieve and store property items at height.
- Handling hazardous waste in accordance with relevant safety procedures and guidelines.
