Responsibilities

Provide support service to technical, secretarial, medical and nursing staff of the Department. Carry out receptionist duties including prioritising and arranging appointments, maintaining appointment systems, identifying test requests and investigations, and coordinating clinics within the department. Deal with patients and staff enquiries in person or via telephone in a courteous and confidential manner, ensuring patient safety and well‑being in the waiting area prior to appointment call and alerting appropriate staff to any concern.
