This role is ideal for a motivated Radiographer with 5+ years of experience seeking to advance their career. You will work alongside the current CT Superintendent to lead and develop a high-performing, patient-focused CT service.

Main duties of the job
- Deputise for the CT Superintendent Radiographer and manage daily staff operations within the division.
- Oversee CT imaging services across all sites to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
- Manage staff activities, allocate resources, monitor performance to meet patient care standards.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals within and outside the Trust.
- Engage in continuous professional development.
- Train junior staff and student radiographers, leading by example.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct all CT examinations maintaining high standards of practice, prepare patients, collaborate on protocol development, participate in quality assurance, supervise and train staff, report equipment issues, assist with training in cannulation and contrast media administration, liaise with hospital staff, and participate in on-call rota. The post involves working at St Peters Hospital, Ashford, and Woking.
Person Specification
Essential: Thorough knowledge of CT anatomy, physiology, pathology, protocols, NHS experience, 5+ years CT experience, supporting service development, staff training, and quality initiatives, HCPC registration, evidence of CPD, and relevant qualifications.
Desirable: Management experience, PG Certificate in CT, service development skills, and previous service improvement knowledge.
