An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Multiskilled Craftsperson to work at Alnwick Infirmary. The successful candidate will work alongside the current multi-skilled team to maintain Alnwick Infirmary, the new and current Berwick Infirmary, and Rothbury Community Hospital sites. The post is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and will also take part in the emergency on-call rota.
The successful post holder will be involved in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all Building/Engineering, life and business-critical services, plant and equipment within all Trust and non-Trust properties within their remit, including some installation work. They will be required to participate in the Estates on-call rota and undertake essential out-of-hours on-call duties, as directed.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload, where required, and work unsupervised.
- Demonstrate total commitment, versatility, and flexibility whilst undertaking all tasks and delegated work as instructed by Estates Officers and Supervisors.

Qualifications:
- Significant M&E Building Services experience.
- Versatile, able to handle conflicting priorities, and work under pressure.
- Computer literate with good technical knowledge and ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.
