Overview

Sitting in a commanding position overlooking the expansive Longsands Beach, this art deco-style building has been completely renovated.

Located in Tynemouth, it offers stunning views of the coastline and easy access to the seafront.

The building houses a pub restaurant with 250 internal and 300 external covers, a fish and chip takeaway, and an ice cream and coffee parlour, adding to the vibrant coastal experience.

As Chef de Partie, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are paramount.

With experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for food, you’ll take full responsibility for your section, delivering exceptional food service from start to finish.

You’ll oversee food safety, storage, and compliance with legislation and company policy, working closely with the team to maintain high standards.

Strong communication, time-keeping, and organizational skills are key as you collaborate with kitchen staff, front-of-house, and management teams.

You’ll work efficiently under pressure, preparing food items timely and maintaining a clean working station.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for your kitchen section and ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Oversee food safety, storage, and compliance with legislation and company policies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, front-of-house, and management to deliver quality service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ensure timely preparation of food items and attention to detail in plating.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar Chef de Partie or equivalent role.
  • Genuine passion for food and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication, time-keeping, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
