A rare opportunity has arisen to join an Individual Placement Support Team as an operational team manager to support with the expansion of the service. The post will be covering the Northumberland and North Cumbria area of Cumbria Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS foundation trust, working alongside the IPS service lead for Central and South locality. This is an exciting time to join the team as we develop the service and as part of this we have created an additional operational team manager post.
Main Duties of the Job
- Lead and oversee the implementation of the IPS Model and ensuring fidelity to the model.
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clinical teams and employers, identifying and addressing any barriers.
- Manage and support a team of Employment Supervisors and Specialists, providing training, coaching, supervision, and appraisals.
- Chair business meetings.
- Track and monitor performance against KPIs, such as job placement, access rates, service user feedback.
- Implement trust operational policies.

- Demonstrable leadership or management experience.
- Experience working in a service where agreed targets are in place and demonstrating outcomes.
